Hey Yall! Sorry this post is so late! I have been so caught up with re-adjusting my schedule and traveling that I haven't had time to do my end of the year income report. So, how did you do? Did you achieve your income goals for 2015? I told y'all that I wanted to see if it's possible for me to make $100,000 with blogging. Last year I made over $70k and wanted to up my goal. If I didn't make my goal, I was fine with whatever I made, as long as I make enough money to make a living blogging because I was transitioning making blogging my full-time job. Welp folks, I'm happy to say I did it! A matter of fact, I exceeded my goal! Take a look at my totals:

Hey yall! Another month in the books! In August, I felt like I was going 100 miles an hour with all the things I had to do like work, blogging, back to being on a strict school routine, etc. I’m so exhausted but I’m grateful I was able to find time for me even though it was for one day. So, nothing much really going on with me when it comes to blogging, still working on creating seasonal blog posts for the fast approaching holiday season. 4th Quarter is here and getting those holiday posts done now and scheduled will free up my time so I can enjoy the holidays with my family. This is what I did last year and it felt great that I could step away from my blogs. August was my best month ever when it comes to my earnings and I’m very proud of my accomplishments! I would’ve never thought I would be making so much from my blogs, truly incredible! Check out my August totals: Hey yall! Happy August! I hope you all have been enjoying these hot days of summer. I have, and hate that it’s coming to an end for me due to the girls going back to school August 10th. What happen to when kids went back to school after Labor Day? I think that is not fair and it’s too hot for kids to go back to school so soon, their minds are still in vacation mode, including mines. July was a month of travel and getting prepared for back to school. Last month, I traveled to Memphis for my families’ annual family reunion and flew to Las Vegas for a Beauty Convention. What I haven’t mentioned on my blog post about what happened to me in Vegas is that I slammed one of my fingers with the car door while I was out there, so it has been very hard for me to type and I’ve been having a lot of typing mistakes because of it. Part of my finger nail has turned black and I’m hoping it’ll grow out because it still hurts and it’s ugly to look at. Has this happen to you? How long do I have to expect it to grow out? Again, I had another good month of blog earnings. Nothing really has changed, just staying consistent with it. My focus now on my blog has been back to school in which I’m getting good hits with Google and social networks that is making my income stay afloat. Remember, if you’re a blogger make sure to write evergreen articles (most important to keep traffic coming to your blog consistently) and also seasonal ones. Back to school is seasonal and my traffic for that topic is high and will start calming down by the end of September. Next seasonal topics are Labor Day, Fall, and Halloween; make sure to start focusing on those topics now. July Totals: September was a pretty fun month for me. I celebrated my birthday, went to my first blog conference, and did some pretty fun stuff with my girls. I've still been pretty busy focusing on my blog and trying to take it to the next level. Someone asked everyone in a Facebook group I'm in where do we see ourselves with our blogs in the next 5 years and to be honest, I'm unsure about myself. I would like to have a staff next year, if possible, so I could focus more on writing and spending more time with my family. But for the time being, I like having freelance writers on hand when I need them. I must say, being a blogger without having hired help will not bring you far in your blogging career. You'll eventually burnout and quit. Just think, why does jobs hire employees? The owner can't do it all on their own. Just food for thought. With me hiring help it's really starting to show in my income I'm earning each month. You just got to be wise what you invest in. There has been times when I invested in something and it turned out to be a bust but it was a learning experience. Now, time for my September total, drum roll please........ Hey everyone! Another month that flew by so quickly! August was a busy month for me when it comes to attending events and my daughters starting school. I started becoming very overwhelmed that I contacted my blog buddy and blog partner Victoria from Young Work at Home Moms and Giveaways 4 Mom for her freelance writers services. This really helped out a lot to free up my time since I work full time and blog full time. Investing in your blog is important if you want to grow it into a full time career and I knew I'll need to start going this route someday and since I have the money it was time to start putting more money into my business. August was another amazing month for me money wise! I just can't believe how much my income has grown over the years! I continue to work hard so I could be able to spend more time with my girls and travel like I've always dreamed of doing. Here are my August totals: Hey everyone! Have you been enjoying your summer? I have! It has been one busy summer for me filled with vacation travel, attending events, and non stop fun with my girls. Now I'm getting prepared for my girls to go back to school next week and my life is going to be hectic dealing with my full time job, working on my blog and dealing with clients, events, helping with school work, after school activities, traveling trips coming up at the end of the year, and so on. Boy, I feel like I'm going 100 miles an hour with no slow down in site! But hey, I'm enjoying every minute of it so no complaints here. July was the most successful month in earnings for me to date! I just can't believe how much I'm making with my blogs- it is truly amazing! Without having a supportive family by my side and God leading me to the right path, I wouldn't be where I'm at today. I am truly blessed! Here are my July earnings: We are now officially in the middle of the year! I'm telling ya, this year is flying by fast and before you know it we will be ringing in the year 2015! Crazy huh? June was actually not that busy for me and I found myself caught up with my blogging work several times. Finally I've been able to catch up on some tv shows on my DVR and most importantly, catch up on some much needed rest. June was another successful month of earnings for me. I always amaze myself how much I've been earning lately. I'm still at awe at how far I've gone with blogging and the amazing people and brands I get to meet. Blogging has been the best way for me to express myself, even if I didn't earn anything from it, I just like that people actually cares about what I talk about and the bonds I make with them, truly rewarding! Well enough with my rambles, on with my June Earnings! May was tough, and when I say tough, I mean super busy! I was preparing for both of my daughters last days of school, attending blogger events, writing reviews for clients, advertising my other blog, and plus my full time job. I'm exhausted! But busting my butt has really paid off because my earnings has really been skyrocketing! If you're a blogger, never give up because you can truly make a full time income if you put the time and effort into it. You must love what you do in order to be successful. Although I'm working on getting more sponsored post to supplement my online income, affiliate marketing income will always be my main because it is passive. I put completing online surveys on the back burner except Pinecone Research because I'm way too busy to do them. Part of my goal this year was to complete online surveys and not cash out until the end of the year to use the money for Christmas shopping. Hopefully I could get back to doing them soon since I've started outsourcing some of my work to help me free up some of my work load. Here are my totals for May: Boy has the month of April been busy for me! I've been so busy with ProductReviewMom.com that I've been neglecting this blog a lot. I'll be honest, I've fell out of love with EarningFreeMoney.com. It is like I've run out of things to talk about here and it just doesn't offer me all the great opportunities I get from ProductReviewMom.com. All my money I'm earning now is coming from my ProductReviewMom.com blog and I need to switch focus to that blog for now on. I've decided to use this blog as a income diary that I will each month discuss my monthly totals. I hope you understand where I'm coming from and start visiting me on my other blog as well. I did really well with my online earnings for the month of April. My income totals does not show the full amount because Pathera Network is behind on payments with their new system and only paid me the money I earned in the old system, so that means May totals should be looking really good for me. I can use all the extra money for my road trip in July. (Make sure to follow my other blog to see the places I go to on my trip) Here are my April totals: March was a very busy month for me- I had to deal with changing all my affiliate links with Panthera Network because they are now using a different company to track sales and sign ups, Google penalized any bloggers who used MyBlogGuest services and I happen to be one of them and had to clean up links, I have been contacted by several different companies over on ProductReviewMom.com to review products and host giveaways, and I did my first media review that I became partners with here in Atlanta. I must say, I'm drained! I've been working non-stop and a lot of late nights writing blog posts! But hey, work is good and I enjoy every second of it! I wouldn't change any of it because opportunities keeps flowing in and so is the money I continue to earn. I'm very proud I finally did my first sponsored post instead of just earning through affiliate companies. I'm working on making money through different sources. Below are my March totals: |
